Jennifer and Dayne were married on Saturday 04/20/2013. The reception was at a beautiful beachside home on Delray Beach.
As the guests were arriving for the ceremony, I played traditional music. Bach, Beethoven, Pachabel, Handel, etc.
The Bride walked to the traditional Bridal March "Here comes the Bride". The ceremony was very touching with a reading from a family member. They exited to the traditional "Wedding Recessional".
I then proceeded to play standards for the cocktail hour. Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Tony Bennett, etc.
I introduced Jennifer and Dayne into the party using "Chapel of Love" by the Dixie Cups.
Their first dance was "The Way You Look Tonight" by Frank Sinatra. Jennifer then danced with her father. The dance was "My Little Girl" by Tim McGraw. Dad was a really funny guy. He spoke at length about the Bride and Groom.
I played " How Sweet It Is" by James Taylor for the Groom and his Mom.
After dinner, we started to get the party jumping. I played music from every era, however, the guests really liked the 70's and 80's. Huey Lewis, Talking Heads, Journey to name a few, As well as, LMFAO, PitBull and Rihanna.
When we were ready to cut the cake, I played "Build Me Up Buttercup" by The Foundations. It got a little messy!
It was a really fun evening. Since it was an outdoor affair, there were people smoking cigars and they were even making S'mores.
A very nice touch.
Congrats to the bride and groom!
