Saturday Evening January 7th at the Riverside Hotel is where Brian and Laurie became one. In front of family and friends overlooking the New River waterway on a beautiful but breezy day, they exchanged vows and rings and were pronounced husband and wife.
The bridal party walked down the aisle to Come Away With Me by Sade. Laurie walked down the aisle with her father to The Wedding Song by Kenny G. Once Laurie and Brian were pronounced husband and wife they walked back down the aisle as one to Good Life by One Republic.
Cocktail hour was held on the balcony over looking downtown Ft. Lauderdale. The choice of music was dinner swing to include Buble, Sinatra, Dean Martin and many artists to fit the genre.
Cocktail hour ended and guests were invited into the main room which was lhighlighted with Amber LED up lights provided by Eddie B & Company. I lined up the bridal party and the parents and introduced them to On The Floor by JLO and then Brian and Laurie danced into a room of cheering friends and family to Crazy in Love by Beyonce as I had them dancing as guests gathered around the dance floor.
The first dance was by Kenny Chesney, Me & You. Laurie danced with her dad to Dance With My Daughter by Jason Blaine. Brian danced with his mother to T Carters, A Mothers Song.
Followed by the toasts, Salad and Dinner. Cake cutting was later on in the evening to LOVE by Natalie Cole and then a friend sang a song for the West Virginians, then the party got going as I danced them from every genre till the last song of the night. I have to say this was an awesome party with great people.
With not one line dance done as requested by Laurie, guests danced from top 40, Latin Music, Rock and Roll and plenty of Hip Hop and booty music. The last songs of the evening were Don't Stop Believing, Shout, I Had The Time Of My Life and Friends in Low Places. Along with Brian and Laurie there parents approached me and thanked me for an unforgettable evening....Congrats from DJ Marc Evans
