On Saturday, January 28th I was in Miami, FL at Rosie's for the wedding ceremony and reception of Sofia and Megan. The ceremony took place around 6:00pm, under a large fig tree that draped over the guests. Megan and Sofia walked down the aisle with their parents to Stand By Me by Florence & the Machine. The ceremony concluded with a kiss as everyone cheered and the newlyweds celebrated down the aisle together as newlyweds to Better Half of Me by Tom Walker. The reception area was held in the large open area adjacent to the ceremony with white linens and 20 LED up lights set to royal blue and white, and a white snap lock dance floor provided by Eddie B & Company. When it was time for introductions, I invited everyone to stand in a large circle as we all welcomed the newlyweds to Sweet Symphony by Chris Stapleton. Megan and Sofia then embraced each other for their first dance to I Guess I’m in love by Clinton Kane. After the first dance I invited Megan’s father to join his daughter for their father daughter dance to Never My Love by The Association, followed by Sofia and her father for their dance to All Around You by Sturgill Simpson. During dinner, I played a some Salsa and easy listening music while the guests enjoyed their meal. After dinner, the newlyweds cut their lavish wedding cake to Cake by Flo Rida. The rest of the night was a party with a mix of latin, house, hip hop, and current dance music favorites for all the guests to enjoy. Thank you Megan and Sofia for allowing me to be a part of your special day. It was an absolute pleasure partying with you and your family. - DJ ELOW
