Wedding and Reception at Royal Fiesta Sep-2016

Channing and Torrey Phillips celebrated their wedding at Royal Fiesta Caterers in Deerfield Beach, FL on 9/16/2016.  All of the festivities took place on the first floor that evening.  Approximately 50 close friends and family members witnessed a beautiful ceremony then they were invited to the cocktail hour for drinks and appetizers.  I played a mix of smooth jazz for the cocktail hour and also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 24 amber colored, LED, wireless up lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 13 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Channing chose This Will Be by Natalie Cole for the bridal party intros and Finally by Cece Pennington for her and Torrey's intro.  The first dance was to Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran then Channing danced with her dad to Butterfly Kisses by Bob Carlisle.  The toast was given by Mr. David Warren who also gave the blessing of the meal.  Everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal.  Channing did not provide me with a play list but did ask me to have fun with her guests and to do what I do best.  I played a mix of top 40, disco, funk, classic rock and latin favorites that evening and it was perfect for this group.  I also took a few requests for the group dances like the Cha Cha Slide and The Wobble.  What a fun and energy filled group they were!!  There was no garter/bouquet toss but we did perform the anniversary dance and the cake cutting ceremony.  As the evening came to an end I played Last Dance by Donna Summer as the closing song.  Channing and Torrey are two of the nicest people I have had the pleasure to work for!!  Congrats to the newlyweds and their amazing families!!  Special thanks to the staff at Royal Fiesta for always putting a smile on the brides face!!
