On Saturday December 1st, I had the pleasure to play for Alyssa & Sean at the beautiful Royal Fiesta. 50 close friends and family members joined them for their wedding celebration. As guests arrived for the ceremony I played a mix of Violin Quartet's for the prelude. Bridal party walked down the aisle to “Venus” by Sleeping At Last, instrumental version, followed by Alyssa's entrance to the tradditonal “Wedding March”. Once pronounced the new Mr. & Mrs. Staley they walked out to “Home” by Phil Phillips. As guests made their way to cocktail hour I played a mix soft latin jazz, and easy listening pop. The reception room was opened and guests were greeted by a glowing red LED up lit ballroom provided by Eddie B & Company along with the LED dance floor lights. Bridal party introduction were to “Somewhere Only We Know” by Keane, followed by the stars of the night to “Meet Me Halfway” by The Black Eyed Peas. Sean and Alyssa shared a very special first dance to “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran, followed by a mother and daughter dance to “Wind Beneath My Wings” Bette Midler. Speeches were given by maid of honor Ligia & Negia Alyssa’s mother. During dinner I played a mix of guitar jazz. Once dinner concluded cake cutting was to “Suga Suga” by Baby Bash, bouquet toss was to “Something Like This” by The Chainsmokers, garter removal was to “Ikon” by Jaden Smith. Dance floor was opened to all the top 40’s hits from there on I mixed all the lines dances, hip-hop and of course for the dominican people in the house I played merengue, bachata, reggaeton and many more. Last of the evening was to “Don’t Stop The Party” by Pitbull.
