Hi Eddie;
Wedding at Soho Catering & Events February 21, 2014.
This was the first time Eddie B & Company played at Soho. The venue is very pleasant and welcoming. This is a DJs dream for easy access and setup. The ceremony was held in the court yard and the reception area was next to the courtyard. There was a threat of rain but the evening turned out to be very sunny, warm and just beautiful. Several guests came from as far as Canada. So the South Florida weather was very welcomed, they left a snow storm behind. The evening began with light music; “Marry You” by Bruno Mars and “Let’s Get Married” by Jagged Edge as guests arrived. Pastor Diaz, the Best Man and the groom took their place at the gazebo and podium as the guests and family awaited the entrance of the bridal party. The Bridesmaids and Groomsmen entered to “Endless Love” by Luther Vandross featuring Mariah Carey. A perfect selection by the bride and groom. Escorted by her father, the bride entered the area walking on rose petals sprinkled on the ground by the flower girl. After Pastor Diaz pronounced that they were husband and wife ,our newly weds exited for photos as “My Cherie Amour”, by Stevie Wonder played.
The bridesmaids and groomsmen started the festivities with a dance off as “Ni&*as In Paris” CLEAN VERIONS JAY-Z & Kanye West played. Not to be outdone our couple entered the reception area to “Mine” by Beyonce featuring Drake. For their First Dance together, the couple danced to “Adorn” by Miguel.
After the first dance it was time for the bride and her dad to show everyone how well they danced as “Unforgettable” by Natalie Cole featuring Nat King Cole played. The groom and his mother also got on the floor as “Mama” by Boyz II Men played. Before the meal was served we had a blessing by groom’s mother . The Best Man gave the first toast followed by the Maid of Honor, the Groom’s brother and the Groom’s mom. “Is This Love” by Bob Marley played as Chenelle & Marlon cut their beautiful cake. “Roar” by Katy Perry got our single ladies on the floor as they jumped for the bouquet. Marlon selected “Candy” by Cameoas to be played as he removed the garter from his bride’s leg. Single guys are usually the shy ones as they walked to the dance floor for the garter toss but not this group hands were up and ready to catch the garter as “All I Do Is Win” by D.J. Khaled played.
The guests partied to such selections as “Blurred Lines”; “At Last “; “Juicy – The Notorious B.I.G ; One Love “; Jump Around“; “I‘m Yours“; ‘ Lucky“; “Let's Get It On”; “Empire State of Mind “; and many more. The last song of the evening was “Happy” by Pharrell that got everyone on the dance floor.
Congratulations Chenelle & Marlon; Mr. & Mrs. Marlon Antonio Watson
