Saturday September 13, 2014 at the beautiful SOHO venue in Hollywood is where the wedding ceremony and reception was held in honor of Julio and Charilee Rivera.
For the ceremony the bridal party walked to Truly by Lionel Richie and Vivaldi. Charilee walked down the aisle to A Thousand Years by the Piano Guys. Once pronounced husband and wife, Is this Love by Bob Marley as everyone cheered for them as they looked like two kids in a candy store with smiles from ear to ear.
During the cocktail hour, Charilee asked that I play some reggae and some steel drum music as most of her guests were from out of town and this music was appropriate....
As I was preparing the bridal party for the grand entrance with the bride and groom, the bridal party was introduced to Fireball by Pitbull. Julio and Charilee entered to Feel This Moment by Pitbull and Christina. The first dance was to two versions of Stand By Me. The English version by Ben E King and the Bachata version by Prince Royce. Followed by Charilee dancing with her dad to Merenguero Hasta la Tambora by Johnny Ventura and Julio danced with his mom to Mama from Boys II Men.
Following the toasts and the prayer the food stations were opened as the guests enjoyed some Latin American music as they ate and drank.
Following dinner, Julio and Charilee danced with family and friends as we opened up with The Harlem Shake as the bridal party dressed up and danced and then Bachata and Top 40 as they danced til the end of the night.
The cake was cut to You'll Never Find by Jah Cure and then the groom took off the garter to New Flame by Chris Brown as he danced very erotic around Charilee as everyone cheered him on. Charilee tossed the bouquet to Rabiosa by Shakira and then following the party rocked again. With a mix of Merengue, Bachata, Salsa and Top 40 Dance music the party went to the last two songs which were Show Me Love by Robin S and All of Me by John Legend.
Another happy bride and groom who celebrated with DJ Marc Evans of Eddie B & Company.
