Sunday afternoon June 9th, 2013 in Miami at Temple Sinai is where Robert and Rachel got married
under the chuppah in front of 115 friends and family. As the parents and the
Rabbi walked in I played Seasons of Love by the Oneil Brothers. For the bride
walking down the aisle I played A Thousand Years the piano version. As soon as
the glass was smashed I played the traditional Simon Tov and Mazel Tov as
everyone sang.
During the brief cocktail hour I played upbeat music to
motivate the Sunday morning casual wedding.
I introduced the bride and
groom to Marc Evans famous brain medley as they entered the room. The first
dance was to Hold On by Michael Buble. Then the bride and groom danced with both
parents at the same time to Somewhere Over The Rainbow by Pianissimo Bros. Then
as I invited all guests to join in, I helped organize the celebration
hora.
Following the Hora and the blessing over the bread, a group of guests
made their speeches to the bride and groom and then the food stations
were opened.
During brunch I played music from Frank, Dean, a little
disco and some J. Maraz, Buble and many more upbeat music as they enjoyed
brunch.
Following brunch, they danced to upbeat Top 40, old time Rock and
Roll, Disco and some Salsa, Merengue. Line dances included, Cupid Shuffle, & the Cha
Cha Slide.
The cake was cut to How Sweet
It Is, by Stevie Wonder.
Following cake, everyone danced until the end of the
party and then concluded with some more prayers from family members.
A
enjoyable Sunday Wedding with great people and DJ Marc Evans.
