Wedding and Reception at the Addison

Mariana and Fernando Sala celebrated their dream wedding at the Addison of Boca Raton, FL on 5/20/2018.  This wedding had it all and it began with a beautiful outdoor ceremony in the courtyard where approximately 130 guests witnessed the happy couple tie the knot.  The cocktail hour followed immediately after the ceremony and as all of the guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers I played a mix of tropical tunes.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 23 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Mariana chose Bring 'Em Out by T.I. for the bridal party intros and La Copa De La Vida by Ricky Martin for her and Fernando's intro.  The first dance was to Lights Down Low by Max then Mariana danced with her dad to Como E Grande O Meu Amor Por Voce by Roberto Carlos then Fernando danced with his mom to You Are The Sunshine Of My Life by Lisa Ono.  Everyone found their seats then Leticia (maid of honor) and Vincent (best man) gave the toasts.  The welcoming speeches were given by Mr. Echard (step-dad) and Uncle Wilkerson (aka Tio Wio) and the reception was under way.  Mariana did provide me with a play list that included top 40, Brazilian favorites, 80s and 90s jams and latin favorites.  What am amazing list of genres to chose from for these fun/electric group of guests.  The dance floor filled up quickly after dinner and the dancing seamed like it never stopped.  As the evening progressed we had a cake cutting ceremony, the garter/bouquet toss and 2 more special dances for Mariana and her step-dads.  Mariana danced to Soul Of My Soul by Michael Bolton with Mr. Echard and to My Wish by Rascal Flatts with Mr. Veiga, what a touching moment!!   The closing song for the evening was Happily Ever After by Jordan Fisher and that put a bow on an amazing Sunday night/Addison wedding!!  Congrats to Mariana, Fernando and the entire Sala, Coelho, Vega and Echard families.  

This wedding was very special to me because I met Fernando's mom Ismari and Rick Veiga in 2006 when I DJed their wedding.  That was also when I met Fernando and Mariana at a very young age.  They make me feel like family evertime we see each other and I wish them the best always!!  Congrats again kids....YOU FINALLY DID IT!!!!!
