Wedding and Reception at the Addison Reserve / Boca Raton

On Saturday January 7th, 2012 I played for my first wedding of the new year, and it was Unbeleivable!!! I was at the Addison Reserve in Boca Raton for Nicole and Andrew Zernitsky. The evening started out with a ceremony outside by the historic Banyan trees in the courtyard, witnessed by 110 family members and friends. The bridal party walked to "The Way You Look Tonight" by Michael Buble. Nicole walked to "everything" by Michael Buble and for the recessional it was "Feeling Good" by Michael Buble. The cocktail hour was a mix of Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, and of course Michael Buble. Then the party started with a festive introduction of the parents, grand parents, and bridal party to "Sexy and I know It". Nicole and Andrew made their grand entrance to "I Gotta Feeling" and their first dance was "I Finally Found Someone" by Barbra Streisand & Bryan Adams. The room was highlighted with Royal Blue Up-Lighting and L.E.D. dance floor lights provided by Eddie B & Company and it looked marvelous! Next I presented two special dedications. The first was "If I Could" by Barbra Streisand dedicated to the newlyweds mothers (Andrea & Anita). Then it was Grandparents Arlene & Richard Portegay who celebrated their 40th Anniversary on December 23rd, 2011. I played their wedding song "We've only Just Begun" by the Carpenters, and everyone joined them on the dance floor. After a delicious sit down dinner we started off the dancing with a traditional Hora that include the chair lifts, and from there on it was Party Time! I played everything from Top 40 Club Dance hits to retro 70's & 80's with a few classic ballads from the 60's mixed in. For the cake cutting it was "Sugar Pie Honey, I Can't Help Myself" by the Four Tops and Nicole tossed her bouquet to "Lady Marmalade" and Andrew tossed the garter to 'I Gotta Feeling". We ended the night with "My Way" by Frank Sinatra and then a classic from Donna Summer, "Last Dance". I want to thank Jessica and the entire staff at the Addisson for their first class hospitality, and photographer Ron Wood for his expertise! Congrats once again to Nicole and Andrew, I enjoyed playing for you and your guests....DJ/MC Eddie B!
