Wedding and Reception at the Amara Cay Resort / Islamorada

On Saturday November 10th I had the pleasure to play for Adam & Michael wedding celebration at the beautiful Amara Cay in Islamorada. Ceremony took facing the beautiful ocean, as guest arrived I played a mix of steel drums songs. Wedding party walked in to “With A Little Help From My Friends” by guitar academy cover. Adam & Michael walked down the aisle to “Turning The Page” by Sleeping At Last. Recessional was to “Born To Be Yours” By Kygo & Imagine Dragons. During Cocktail hour I played a mix of upbeat tropical songs to set the beach wedding mood. Once cocktail hour concluded all guests were invited to main reception under the beautiful clear skies of Islamorada. Eddie B & Company provided the amazing turquoise LED up lights through reception area. Wedding party introduction was to “Starship” by Nicki Minaj, Followed by Adam and Michael entrance to “I Bet My Life” By Imagine Dragons. The new grooms shared a special first dance to “Mean To Me” by Brett Eldredge, followed by a thank you speech by the grooms. During dinner I played a mix of rat pack and modern jazz. Shortly after dinner Adam and Michael shared a very special mother and son dance to “Wind Beneath My Wings” by Bette Midler, halfway through the song all mothers was invited to join them to finish the song, a very special moment for all the mothers attending. From there on I took advantage the dance floor was full and got the party started by played all the motown hits, 80’s disco, top 40’s, Line Dances, hip-hop, country and many more. Last song of the evening was to “Can’t Stop The Feeling” by Justin Timberlake.
