Wedding and Reception at the "B" Ocean Hotel / Ft. Lauderdale

On Saturday November 17th, 2012 I played for a wedding at the “B” Ocean Hotel, Ft. Lauderdale. Our couple Wadid & Christina exchanged their vows on the Penthouse level  with the ocean in the background. Soloist Ri, performed “From This Moment” as the parents entered. Both mothers then lit the candle for the candle lighting ceremony. The bridal party then entered the room followed by our beautiful bride with her Dad. After the blessings, the couple lit a single candle from the candles lit by their mothers. Eddie B & Company also provided LED Cyan Blue up lighting. What a way to start the reception by introducing our bridal party while playing in the background “Can’t Get Enough of Your Love” Barry White. Wadid & Christina danced their first dance together “Wedding Day” performed by Michael DeFarla, a family friend. The evening continued with the Daughter/ Father Dance to “Wind Beneath My Wings” and then the Mother /Son Dance “Hero”. Christina tossed her bouquet to the anxiously waiting single ladies while “Single Ladies” was played. Then it was the men’s turn to catch the garter while “Macho Man” was played. The cake cutting was done while “As we Break Bread “by Steve Moser played in the background. After all the festivities were over it was time to party. Our guests danced to “Don’t Stop Till you Get Enough”; “I’m Sexy and I know it”; “Macarena” ; especially for our bride Zydeco song by Wayne Toups ; Beau Jocque & The Zydeco Hi-Rollers; Electric Slide, music from the 80’s and many more. The evening ended with Michael Buble “Save the Last Dance for Me” Congratulations Wadid & Christina- Mr. & Mrs. Wadid Daoud. D.J. Handel
