Kristel and Brett Ryba celebrated their wedding at the B Ocean Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 8/6/2016. This awesome wedding began with an outdoor beach ceremony. The music for the ceremony was provided by our very own live steel drummer Brian Henry. All of the approximate 40 guests were then invited to the inside bar for the cocktail hour. Myself and Jerry took the time to decorate the ballroom with 24 light blue colored, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights, a monogram with their names and the date and our signature "Strike A Pose" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 8 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Kristel chose We Found Love by Rihanna for the grand entrance including her and Brett. The first dance was to Love You Forever by Ryan Huston then Kristel danced with her dad to You Raise Me Up by Josh Groban and Brett danced with his mom to A Mother's Song by T. Carter. The toasts were given by Kandice (maid of honor) and Richard (best man) then all of the guests prepared for a buffet style dinner. Kristel did not provide me with a play list but she did ask me to play to the crowd and to have fun with her family. For a small group they really packed a punch!! I played a mix of top 40, country, 80s and 90s dance hits and a few oldies that evening. What a fun group. I also took a few requests for some group dances as the night progressed. We did take a pause for the cake cutting and the garter/bouquet toss but the dance floor was the place to be. As the evening came to an end Kristel requested A Thousand Years by Christina Perry so herself and her new hubby can have one last dance. All of the remaining guests joined them on the dance floor and gave them a huge group hug as the song ended. Great ending to a great wedding!!! Congrats to Kristel, Brett and the entire Ryba and Banta families. Special thanks to Mark and his super staff at the B Ocean Hotel!! You guys rock!!
