Wedding and Reception at the Bahia Mar
I just wrapped up Michael and Javier Munroe's wedding here at the beautiful Bahia Mar Double Tree Hilton on Saturday November 26th. The weather was perfect for the outdoor Ceremony. Not a cloud in the sky and about 75 degrees. After the beautiful Ceremony they transitioned into the Cocktail hour as I went inside and awaited the guests and bridal party for their introductions. Now, Michael's family was Puerto Rican and were bilingual, however Javier and his family only spoke Spanish. So when announcing the bridal party I pronounced everything first in Spanish and then in English. It was great and everyone was able to follow my every word. Now its time for the introductions. First up were the Grooms Parents. They came out to Kool and the Gang's Celebrate. As they sit down it was time to introduce for the first time Michael and Javier! They came out to Jennifer Lopez, Lets get loud. As they entered they made their way to the dance floor for their First Dance. The song they choose was Alicia Keys, If I Ain't got you. After that the Grooms danced with their Mothers to Estoy Enamorado by Thalia and Pedro Capo. It was a lovely dance. And now the time came for the Toast by Javier' uncle and the Blessing by Michaels daughter. They were very quick and to the point. The time for the meal had arrived and soon after the cake was cut. Now it was on to the party! I Started off with some traditional Mexican music, Salsa, Merengue, Bachata and the moved into some Popular dance and sprinkled in some old school Hip Hop witch was a huge hit! It was a great wedding and a lot of fun! I wish the Newly Weds the best from the bottom of my heart! Thank you guys, DJ CRISTIAN.
