Keeley and Zach Puckett celebrated their wedding at the Bahia Mar Hotel and Marina in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 5/29/2021. Approximately 110 close friends and family members arrived to the Bahia Mar and were directed to the dock side ceremony. After the happy couple tied the knot everyone was invited to the Ocean View room at the hotel for the cocktail hour. As all of the guests mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers I decorated the ballroom with 20 blue, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. It was time for the grand entrance so all of the guests entered the ballroom and found their seats. Keeley chose Bring 'Em Out by T.I. for the bridal party intros and Dynamite by T. Cruz for her and Zach's intro. The first dance was to My Best Friend by Tim McGraw then Keeley danced with her dad to My Girl by The Temptations then Zach danced with his mom to Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd. The toasts were given by Aja (maid of honor) and Cory (best man) then Kelley's dad Mr. McLaughlin gave the welcoming speech. A 3 course meal was ready to be enjoyed and the reception was under way. Keeley did not provide me with a play list because she read many of my reviews prior to the wedding. She trusted me to engage with her guests and to ROCK her wedding. I played a mix of top 40, classic rock, 80s and 90s dance hits and a few couples dances. I also took requests for some of the newer group dances an as the evening progressed they did perform the garter/bouquet toss and the cake cutting ceremony. The closing songs for the evening were Bye, Bye, Bye by N'Sync and Friends In Low Places by Garth Brooks and that put a bow on a great Saturday night wedding.
Congrats to Keeley, Zach and the entire Puckett, McLaughlin and Debris families.
Special thanks to the staff at the Bahia Mar for always providing excellent service.
