Wedding and Reception at the Bahia Mar Resort

On March 10th, 2012 I was at the Bahia Mar on Ft.Lauderdale beach to D.J./M.C. a wedding for Brian & Melissa Placa.The ceremony took place in the garden next to the intra coastal along with the cocktail hour."Marry Me" was for the bridal party to walk to....."A New Day Has Come" was the song Melissa chose to walk to..."I'm Yours" was the recessional. For cocktail hour a mix of island/country and R&B songs played. Then the party move inside to the grand ballroom.As guest entered the ballroom, upbeat  jazz was playing in the background. I introduced the wedding party and the introduction song for the bride and groom was sung live by a friend "Can You Feel The Love Tonight".The first dance took place after to "All My Roads" by Collin Ray. A few toasts took place and a prayer then dinner was served. A mix of classic love songs along with country and tunes from the rat-pack played.The brother stood in for the brides dad who passed for the special dance to "My Wish" by Rascal Flats...the mother/son song was "Do I Make You Proud" by Taylor Hicks. After dinner it was cake time..."Tonight Is The Night" by Outasight was the song. A special song was sung to the couple as they danced to "At Last".It was party time till the end dancing to top 40 dance/pop...country...latin...soca...rock and classic r&b.....Best wishes to Brian & Mellisa....Thanxs Roberto (D.J./M.C.
