Nicole and Eric Cruz celebrated their wedding at the Bahia Mar Hotel and Marina in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 6/5/2022. Nicole decided on having an indoor ceremony to take the weather out of the picture. Approximately 60 close friends and family members arrived to the Bahia Mar that Sunday late afternoon and were directed to the 2nd floor for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. After the ceremony all of the guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers at the cocktail hour while I played a mix of tropical tunes. Myself and Cecilia took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20 blue, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights and our "Open Air" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company. As the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 14 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Nicole chose I Gotta Feeling by The Black Eyed Peas for the parents intros, Crazy In Love by Beyonce for the bridal party intros and The Throne Room from Star Wars for her and Eric's intro. The first dance was to All Of Me by John Legend then we performed the traditional Jewish Hora while we were all on the dance floor. Nicole then danced with her dad to Because You Loved Me by Celine Dion then everyone found their seats. The toasts were given by Rachel (matron of honor) and Daniel (best man) then Ken (father of the bride) gave the welcoming speech. The first of a 3 course meal was ready to be served and the reception was under way. Nicole did provide me with a play list that included top 40, latin favorites, country and 80s and 90s hits. Perfect mix of genres for these very excited guests that filled the dance floor after dinner. The cake cutting and the bouquet toss (no garter) were performed as the evening progressed then I played I've Had The Time Of My Life from The Dirty Dancing Soundtrack and that put a bow on an amazing Sunday night Bahia Mar wedding.
Congrats to Nicole, Eric and the entire Cruz and Leon families.
Special thanks to the staff at the Bahia Mar for always providing exceptional service.
