Wedding and Reception at the Bahia Mar Resort
Kara and Carvey Iannuzzi celebrated their wedding at the Bahia Mar Resort and Marina in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 5/19/2018. The weather that evening was not cooperating so the ceremony was held indoors. The Ocean View room looked beautiful and so did Kara as her dad Mr. Naylor escorted her down the isle. After the happy couple sealed their love with a big kiss everyone was invited to the cocktail hour for drinks and appetizers. I played a mix of tropical tunes as all of the approximate 130 guests mingled and posed for pictures with Kara and Carvey. I took the time to decorate the ballroom with 24 cyon LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. As the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 17 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Each bridal party couple entered to a different song then Kara and Carvey entered to Trip Around The Sun by Kenny Chesney. The first dance was to It All Started With A Beer by Frankie Ballard then Kara danced with her dad to I Loved Her First by Heartland and Carvey danced with his mom to Mom by Garth Brooks. The toasts and welcoming speeches were given by Mr. Iannuzzi (groom's dad) and Mr. Naylor (bride's dad). Everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal and the reception was in full swing. Kara did provide me with a play list that included top 40, classic rock, country hits and oldies. I love it when the dance floor as packed and the bride and groom are right in the middle enjoying their big day. The cake cutting ceremony was performed but there was no garter/bouquet toss. Kara did request a special song for the family members that were there in spirit which was You Should Be Here by Cole Swindell...very nice touch!!
The closing song for the evening was Save The Last Dance For Me by Michael Buble and that put a bow on an amazing Saturday night/Bahia Mar wedding!! Congrats to Kara, Carvey and the entire Iannuzzi and Naylor families.
