Wedding and Reception at the Bahia Mar Resort & Marina / Ft. Lauderdale

On Saturday September 26th, 2015, I had the pleasure playing for Jessica and Jeffrey Brandt and 90 family members and friends at the Bahia Mar Resort & Marina. The evening started with a ceremony along the intra-coastal waterway in the tropical garden. The bridal party walked to "Butterfly Waltz" and Jessica chose "Rebel Heart" (instrumental) by The Corrs. Once they were pronounced husband & wife I played "Signed, Sealed Delivered", by Stevie Wonder. The cocktail hour was held outside in the garden and for this I made a playlist of Classic & Alternative Rock chosen by Jess & Jeff. Then the party started in the Grand View Ballroom inside the hotel with an introduction that rocked the house! Each and every couple was introduced to their special song and everyone did a dance routine! The first dance was "The Waiting" by Tom Petty, followed by a dance with their children Cameron & Chapin to "I Hope You Dance". After the toasts dinner was served and again I played off a play list of special requests from Jess & Jeff. The mix of music was a variety of Top 40 dance, Hip Hop, and 80's/90's Retro. The cake was cut to "Eat It" by Weird Al, and Jeff removed the garter to "Oh Yeah", and Jess tossed her bouquet to "Move B**ch" by Ludacris! Eddie B & Company also provided Mint colored LED up lights, LED dance floor lights and a Strike A Pose photo booth for everyone to enjoy. The final song was "Closing Time".
