Wedding and Reception at the Bamboo Gallery

It was my great pleasure to DJ Josh and Kate's Wedding at the Bamboo Gallery on March 5, 2022. The Bamboo Gallery is a tropical outdoor venue in Davie but you feel like you are in the Keys. As the guests arrived for the ceremony I played Falling Like the Stars by James Arthur, XO by John Mayer and Magic by Coldplay. The Bridal Party entered to the cello cover of A Thousand Years by Christina Perri and the Bride entered to a cello and piano cover of Just the Way You Are by Bruno Mars. Derrick, the officiant was funny and entertaining. Josh and Kate walked up the aisle a married couple to Signed, Sealed Delivered I'm Yours by Stevie Wonder. Next was cocktail hour and I played Take It Easy by the Eagles, I Can't Help Myself by Four Tops, Le Freak by Chic and Get Down Tonight by KC and the Sunshine Band. People were having fun and dancing! For Dinner Josh and Kate and the Wedding Party made a grand entrance to a professionally voiced track made to sound like an announcer for the NBA! Everybody loved it! Josh and Kate had their first dance to Ray LaMontangne's You Are the Best Thing. For the Father & Daughter and Mother & Son Dances Josh's Sister sang John Mayer's You're Gonna Live in Me Forever. During dinner I played songs like Kiss by Prince, Wake Me Up by Avicii and Love Never Felt So Good by Michael Jackson. After dinner it was time to party! Josh and Kate made a grand entrance while the guests held up sparklers and I played Time of Our Lives by Pitbull and Ne-Yo. The dance floor was packed to songs like Gold Digger by Kanye West, Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars, Body by Loud Luxury and Super Bass by Nicki Minaj. Josh and Kate also had a Open Air photo booth, LED dance floor lights, LED Tumbling Dice l and  cold spark special effects, all proivided by Eddie B & Company. I highly recommend these for every wedding if you are looking for the full night club experience! For the last song Josh and Kate picked Allen Stone's Cover of Bob Marley's Is This Love. This was one of the most fun weddings I have done. Josh and Kate and their families are very nice and I wish them the best! DJ Chris Nelson
