Crystal and Christopher Oliveira celebrated their dream destination wedding at the Beachcomber Resort in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 2/28/2014. It was a beautiful Friday late morning at the Beachcomber and as all of the guests arrived they were directed to the ceremony/reception area to witness Crystal and Chris tie the knot. The Atlantic Ocean was the back drop to the ceremony and as Crystal and Chris sealed the deal with a big kiss all of the guests cheered loudly for the happy couple. The cocktail hour was also held outdoors (poolside) and as all of the guests enjoyed drinks and cocktails, Crystal and Chris headed to the beach for more pictures. Most of the approximate 40 guests were from the Massachusetts area so they were really enjoying the perfect S. Florida weather. The entrance song for Crystal and Chris was Dr. Feelgood by Motley Crue then they went right into the first dance which was Nothing Else Matters by Metalica. Crystal requested that all of the couples join them on the dance floor for the first dance. The short but sweet toast was given by Chris' dad Mr. Daniel Oliveira then all were invited to find their seats for the 1st of 3 courses. Chris did provide me with a play list and I added, to the mix, a few of my personal favorites. There was no parents dances of garter/bouquet toss but the happy couple did cut their beautiful wedding cake as the day progressed. The dance floor started jumping after the main course then I started playing mostly requests by all of the guests. Crystal made the best request of the day. She asked me to play New York, New York by Frank Sinatra and to dedicate it to The Captain Derek Jeter on his final year in pinstripes. That was the best way that I can think of to end a perfect wedding with the perfect song!!! Congrats to Crystal, Christopher and the entire, Oliveira and Zebelin families. Special thanks to the staff at the Beachcomber Resort... I love to work with these fine folks!!
