Wedding and Reception at the Boca Country Club

On Saturday December 15th, 2012 at the Boca Raton Country Club, underneath the Chuppah, outside by the pool area in front of 120 guests, Jonathan and Amy were married in a beautiful setting while family and friends watched on. The groom, the bridal party and the rabbi, walked down the aisle to Ebon Coast by Andy McKee. The bride selected to walk down the aisle to, The Dress Looks Nice On You by Sufjan Stevens. When the bride and groom were pronounced husband and wife, I played as requested, Summer Romance by Incubus.  For cocktail hour, I played a list of songs from the newlyweds that included, Adele, The Chiffons, Elvis, Greenday, Sam Cooke and many other artists. The music was mellow and low so that guests could converse outside in the beautiful South Florida breeze. Once cocktail hour was over  the guests were invited into the well lit ballroom room with Amber uplighting provided by Eddie B & Company  along with LED dance floor lights. I lined up the bridal party and prepared for the grand entrance. The parents and the bridal party danced into I Gotta Feeling by Black Eyed Peas and then the bride and groom danced into I Believe In A Thing Called Love by The Darkness.  The first dance was If I Ain't Got You by Alicia Keys. After the first dance I invited the father of the bride to join his daughter on the dance floor as they danced to Groovin by Kenny Rankin. Then it was the mother of the grooms chance to dance with her son to You are the Sunshine Of My Life by Frank Sinatra. After the salad, I introduced 5 sets of people to present the champagne toasts to the bride and groom. From the best man, to the maid of honors, and both sets of parents and then the bride and groom thanked everyone for sharing there special day. During dinner the bride asked that I play guitar instrumentals from various artists and have the volume low so guests can converse during dinner. After dinner the guests of bride and groom danced to the Hora first and then to many artists such as Pitbull, Beyonce, Black Eyed Peas and many more artists. Dance music in all the eras is what kept the crowd dancing all night long. They had suggested  Love Shack, Shout, some Beatles, LMFAO, the Commodores and many other songs that kept the party going all night to the last minute. I ended the evening with We Are Young by Pentatonix as all the friends Dan Ed and bowed down to the bride and groom as a great time was had by all. Off on their honeymoon and for me the Virtual DJ Marc Evans, I will prepare in two weeks for another wedding and then a New Years wedding as the year comes to a close. Hello again from the virtual DJ Marc Evans celebrating with Jonathan and Amy Friedman who travelled with family and friends from NY, NJ, and the Mid-west to the Boca Country Club.Underneath the Chuppah, outside by the pool area in front of 120 guests, Jonathan and Amy were married in a beautiful setting while family and friends watched on.
