DJ Gregg Here again!
I just wanted to let you know about the great wedding that I DJ'd this Saturday.
Teriann and Gregg were married at the beautiful Boca Country Club. An excellent venue if you truly want an elegant experience. The Center foyer was where the ceremony was held. As the guests were arriving, I played classic Prelude music, however the ceremony was far from traditional. When the Groom and the parents were walking in I was instructed to play "Marry Me" by Train. An excellent song. Then the Bridal Party came in to "Canon in D minor". The Bride made her entrance with the traditional "Here comes the Bride". It was a beautiful ceremony, with readings and of course the exchange of rings. You can see the love in Gregg and Teriann's eyes as they exchanged vows. The Recessional I was instructed to play was a beautiful Instrumental version of Rascall Flats "Bless the Broken Road" performed by the O'Neil Brothers.
After this, the Bride and Groom went to take pictures. I then started playing music for the Cocktail Hour. I sprinkled a little bit of Frankie, Tony, Dino and of course Sammy along with some smooth Jazz as instructed. It set the pefect tone.
The Cocktail hour ends and now we adjourn to the MAIN EVENT!
As the guests enter, I keep the music very Classy. "DiBlasio, Sade, and the like.
I line the Bridal Party and start to do the Grande Entrance. Then the moment we all waited for! Our Bride and Groom! The room erupted with cheering and applause as Teriann and Gregg made their way in. They were beaming. They then went into their first dance "Then" by brad Paisley. As the Newelyweds danced, I then invited the Bridal party to make their way to the dance floor. Another song for the rest of the guests, and then I sat them down to do the Toasts and Blessing.
Once Dinner was completed, I invited the Bride and her father to the dance floor and I played" What a wonderful world" by Louis Armstrong. I then Invited Gregg to dance with his Mom. They chose "My Wish" By Rascall Flatts. The rest of the guests joined them up on the floor and then I hit the "PARTY" button!
We continued to dance the rest of the night. Playing all types of music. From Frank Sinatra to LMFAO.
I covered all of the bases! And the guests covered the dance floor. It was a great party!
Thanks for reading!
