On Saturday September 10th, 2011 I played for Ashley and Gregg Johnson at the Boca Raton Hotel. The ceremony took place in the Mizner Room. The bridesmaids walked to "Rhythm Of Love" by the Piano Tribute Players and Ashley walked to "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing" by the Vitamin String Quartet. Once they exchanged vows and sealed them with a kiss I played "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz. Then 110 guests were invited downstairs to the Palm Court for a cocktail reception. The reception then took place in the Cathedral Room and we started the party with introductions of the bridal party while Chris Browns' "Forever was playing in the background. Then Ashley and Gregg made their grand entrance to "Raise Your Glass" by Pink. After 2 toasts and dinner the newlyweds stole the spotlight with their first dance "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol. Then Ashley danced with her father to "I Loved Her First" by Heartland, and Gregg danced with his mother to "Hero" by Mariah Carey. Then I mixed into "The Club Handle Me" and for 2 hours plus the danced floor rocked. Journey, Bon Jovi, Flo Rida, Chris Brown, Michael jackson, Edie Money, B.E.P., Pitbull, Lady Gaga, and a few classics from the 60's kept everyone dancing and happy. For the cake cutting I played "How Sweet It Is" by James Taylor. This was a very festive group of people and we ended the night with "Dirty Bit" (Time Of My Life). Ashley and Gregg are off on a cruise on the Oasis of the Seas in the Eastern Caribbean. Congrats and thanks again, I enjoyed being a part of your special day! DJ/MC Eddie B!
