Wedding and Reception at the Bonaventure Country Club

On Saturday, July 28th, 2012 I played at the Bonaventure Country Club for Casey and Zack Felsen and one hundred thirty friends and family members. The ceremony was moved inside because of the heat and humidity, and everyone was happy about that decision. The bridal party walked to "Canon in D" by the O'Neil Brothers and Casey walked to Over the Rainbow by Israel K. Once they sealed their vows with a kiss, and broke the glass, I played "Walking On Sunshine" by Katrina and the Waves. This put the entire room in an upbeat mood and it was off to the cocktail reception. I introduced the bridal party to "We Like To Party" by the Venga Boys and Casey and Zack made their grand entrance to "Party Rock Anthem". I will say this now, I had a very festive group of party goers to play for the entire evening. The first dance was "I Swear" by All 4 One and most of the bridal party was singing to the newlyweds! Casey then danced with her father, David Slavin to "Have I Told You Lately" and Zack danced with his mother Beth, to "Close To You" by the Carpenters. Then I mixed into a traditional Hora and the dance floor was packed! After the blessing and a few toasts dinner was served and I took everyone down memory lane with songs from Sinatra to Sade. The play list was a nice mix of old school classics like CC Music Factory, Michael Jackson, Vanilla Ice, Heavy D & the Boyz, Pointer Sisiters, Will Smith, and many more. Then I added some of the Top Club hits from J-Lo & Pitbull, Rihanna, Chris Brown, LMFAO, and Flor-Rida! The dance floor rolled for two and a half hours. Eddie B & Company also provided a Monagram with Casey and Zack's intials scrolled across the dance floor in white light. For the cake cutting it was "Sugar Sugar" by The Archies and for the final song I played "Glad You Came" by The Wanted. I want to thank Patti and her staff for making feel right at home, and the guests also enjoyed a photo booth and cotton candy machine. Casey and Zack are off to the Domincan Republic for their honey moon. Mazel Tov to the newlyweds and their families......DJ/MC Eddie B!
