Margarita and Seth Alper celebrated their wedding at the Bonaventure Resort and Spa in Weston, FL on 5/3/2014. The happy couple decided that day to keep the entire event in-doors so as all of the approximate 130 guests arrived they were directed to the ceremony area by the west lobby entrance. Everyone especially Seth waited with anticipation as Margarita's mom and dad escorted her down the isle. The ceremony was perfect and after Seth broke the glass and everyone yelled Mozel Tov everyone was invited to the cocktail hour in a separate room. The cocktail hour was highlighted by our very own Ricky B who provided live acoustic guitar tunes while all of the guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers. Everybody loves Ricky B!!!! After the cocktail hour all of the guests were directed to the main ballroom for the grand entrance and reception. The main ballroom was decorated with 24 blue colored, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. I lined up the 20 member bridal party outside of the double doors as all of the guests found their seats. Margarita chose Shake Senora by Pitbull for the bridal party entrance and The Way You Make Me Feel by Michael Jackson for her and Seth's entrance. The guests went wild when Seth did his best M.J. impersonation!!! The firsts dance was to All Of Me by John Legend then Margarita danced with her dad to I Loved Her First by Heartland and Seth danced with his mom to The Perfect Fan by The Backstreet Boys. The toasts were given by Michelle and Nicole (maid/matron of honor), Ian and Jacob (best men), Gerri and Ana (both moms) and Josh (grooms brother). Jeff and Artie (Seth's Uncles) gave the blessing of the Challah then the first of a 3 course meal was served. Margarita and Seth did provide me with a great play list that consisted of classic rock, 70's and 80's dance hits, top 40, salsa, merengue and country. I love when there are plenty of genres to play especially for a mixed crowd. The dance floor was extremely busy all night!! After the main course all of the guests gathered on the dance floor for the Hora (traditional Jewish dance). That was one of the many highlights of this wedding. Other highlights were when Margarita and her sorority sisters from Phi-Mu sang their pledge song and Seth and his boys performed I Want It That Way by the Backstreet Boys....PRICELESS!!! They did take a small break to cut the wedding cake and to have a garter/bouquet toss as the night progressed, then it was back to the dancing fun. The last songs for the evening were The Time by The Black Eyed Peas and Lost In This Moment by Big & Rich. Perfect was to end a perfect wedding!!! Congrats to Margarita, Seth and the entire Torres and Alper families. Also a special thanks to the staff at the Bonaventure...I haven't seen then in a while but I'm sure we will work together again shortly!!
