Mark and Jessica Schaffer celebrated their wedding on 6/25/2011 at The Breakers West C.C. in Palm Beach. The evening started with a memorable ceremony outdoors that was witnessed by 130 family and friends. After the vows all of the guests were treated to a cocktail hour indoors while Mark and Jessica took a few family pictures. As I lined the bridal party up for the grand entrance all of the guests were anxiously waiting and it was obvious that they were ready to party. The bridal party entered to Let's Get It Started by The Black Eyed Peas and Marc and Jessica entered to It's Going Down by Yung Joc. As the bride and groom entered the screams and applause got louder and louder. Mark and Jessica chose I'm Yours by Jason Mraz as their first dance. Then Mark danced with his mom to My Wish by Rascal Flatts and Jessica danced with her dad and mom to I Hope You Dance by Lee Ann Womack. Everyone then sat down and the toasts were given by Tara (maid of honor) and Pat (best man). Right after salads and before the main course Jessica asked me to play some soft music for the couples just to warm them up for the dancing after dinner. I guess she knew what she was talking about because after dinner the dance floor was packed! All of the guest got a chance to work out the food they just ate. It was amazing how quickly this happened. Jessica and Mark provided me with a list of their favorite dance tunes and it worked perfectly. They really knew their guests taste in music. After the cake cutting we went back to the dance music. Jessica did not want to do the garter/bouquet toss which gave the guests more time to boogie. The highlight of the evening was the group dances. We did the Cha Cha Slide, The Cupid Shuffle and The Grease Mega-Mix. There was literally no room on the dance floor at that point. The evening ended with Don't Stop Believing by Journey. Mark and Jessica were on the middle of the dance floor and all the guest made a big circle around them and did a huge group hug. That made my night!! To see how happy everyone was at the end of the night is the reason why I am in this profession. Special thanks to the staff at The Breakers West! From beginning to end they were fabulous. Five Stars all around for their constant professionalism! Good Luck to Mark and Jessica on their Honeymoon in beautiful Dominican Republic!!!!!
