On Friday May 6th, 2011 I had the pleasure of playing for Megan and Jeffrey Kovacich and 27 friends and family members from Ohio! The evening started with a ceremony on the beach performed by owner/operator Mr. Paul Bates. Since it was a small group everyone was part of the processional which was "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" by The Lullaby Players. Megan sta in an air conditioned stretch limo and watched until it was time for her father to walk her down the sand. I played "Marry Me" by Train cued to a certain place in the song chosen by the bride. After the ceremony it "I Got A Feeling" by B.E.P. and everyone dance back for the recessional. After a delicious tropical buffet prepared by chef Peter and staff, toasts were given and then I invited everyone to the beach for the surprise first dance which was "Lost In This Moment" by Big & Rich. Why was it a surprise? Because it included the Coconut Cove's famous Fireworks Extravaganza during the entire first dance. Totally AWESOME!!! The guests were wide eyed and cheering as the fireworks exploded over the bay while Megan & Jeffrey danced. Later Megan danced with her father to "My Little Girl" by Tim McGraw and then I played everything from classic rock to Top 40 hits. The final two songs were "Time Of My Life"(Dirty Bit), and "Closing Time" by Semisonic. Then as I was packing up for the drive back to Ft. Lauderdale half of the guests wound up in the pool!
