Wedding and Reception at the Colony Cabana Club / Delray
On Saturday December 20th, 2014 I had the pleasure of playing for Amy & Matthew Singerlee and 75 family members and friends at the Colony Cabana Club in Delray. The evening started off with a ceremony on the beach. The bridal party walked to "I'm Yours" and Amy walked to "Over The Rainbow". After a short ceremony I played "Kiss the Girl" by Colbie Caillat for the recessional and then it was off to cocktail hour. I introduced the bridal party to "Pieces" by Sam Kininger and the newlyweds to "Main Squeeze" by Chuck Mangione. Their first dance was " I Got You" by Jack Johnson, and then Amy danced with her father to "Daughters" by Loudon Wainwright III. During dinner and dancing I kept the music old school strictly from the 70's, 80's, and 90's. There was NO Top 40 music at all.....as requested by Amy & Matthew. The final 2 songs of the evening were "Send Me On My Way" by Rusted Rooted and "Lovely Cruise" by Jimmy Buffet.
