Michelle and Ken Wiley celebrated their wedding at the Conrad Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 12/15/2019. This special wedding began with an outdoor ceremony on the 6th floor then all of the 150 guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers at the cocktail hour. I played a mix of tropical tunes while myself and Chris decorated the ballroom with 20 amber, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights, a monogram with their names and the date, our cumulus cloud effect for the first dance and our signature "Mirror Me" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company. As the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 17 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Michelle chose ESPN Jock Jams for the bridal party intros and Let's Get It Started by The Black Eyed Peas for her and Ken's intro. The first dance was an edited mp3 version of a special song then Michelle danced with her dad to I Loved Her First by Heartland and Ken danced with his mom to You'll Be In My Heart by Phil Collins. The toasts were given by Melissa (maid of honor), Gary (best man) and Eric (groom's brother) then Marsha (brides mom) gave the welcoming speech and the blessing of the meal. everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal. Michelle did not provide me with a play list but she did ask me to have fun with her guests and to play to the crowd. Well that was a pretty easy task since these guests were very pumped up and ready to dance the night away. I played a mix of top 40, classic rock, heavy country and 90s dance hits. What a great mix of music for this fun group. As the evening progressed we had the cake cutting ceremony and the garter/bouquet toss along with a few couples dances. The closing song for the evening was Crazy In Love by Beyonce and that put a bow on an amazing Sunday night Conrad wedding. Congrats to Michelle, Ken and the entire Wiley and Leccesse families.
Special thanks to the staff at the Conrad for making this day very special for Michelle and the family.
