Wedding and Reception at the Coral Gables Country Club

Sheena and Adam Diaz celebrated their wedding on 3/15/2014 at the beautiful Coral Gables C.C. in Miami, FL.  The ceremony was held at a nearby church where approximately 120 friends and family members witnessed the happy couple make it official.  While Sheena and Adam stayed for pictures, all of the guests were invited to the C.G. Country Club for the cocktail hour and reception.  During the cocktail hour all of the guests enjoyed drinks, appetizers and the unmistakable saxophone playing of our very own Michael Kennedy.  The ballroom was decorated with 24 amber colored, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom for the grand entrance and reception, I lined up the 22 member bridal party.  Sheena chose Timber by Pitbul and Kesha for the bridal party entrance and Feel This Moment by Pitbul and C. Aguilera for her and Adam's intros.  The first dance was to Come Rain or Come Shine by Ray Charles then Sheena danced with her dad to The Greatest Love Of All by Whitney Houston and Adam danced with his mom to What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong.  The toasts were given by Danielle (maid of honor), Brett (best man) and both dads Mr. Fernandez and Mr. Diaz.  The prayer before the meal was given by Father Danny then the first of a three course meal was served.  Sheena and Adam did not provide me with a play list because of all of the reviews they read on the Wedding Wire and The Knot.  They told me to have fun and to do what I do best!!  I played a mix of top 40, merengue, salsa, bachata, country, r&b, classic rock and hip-hop.  I love when the guests react to a mix of different genres by dancing like nobody is watching!!  There were two special song requests.  One was for Sheena's godfather Uncle Mikey (My Girl by The Temptations) and the other was for grandpa Romeo who they call Nanoo (Mony by Billy Idol).  The fun continued with the cake cutting and the garter/bouquet toss and a lot more dancing.  The evening concluded with the last song which was Save The Last Dance For Me by Michael Buble then all of the remaining guests went to the entrance of the building for a sparkler send off!!!!  Congrats to Sheena, Adam and the entire Fernandez and Diaz families.  Special thanks to the staff at Coral Gables C.C. for working together with me and all of the vendors to create a great experience.
