Wedding and Reception at the Coral Gables Country Club

Jessica and Michael Torrens celebrated their wedding at the Coral Gables Country Club in Coral Gables, FL on 6/16/2018.  The ceremony took place at a nearby church then all of the approximate 100 guests were invited to the Country Club for the cocktail hour and reception.  As all of the guests arrived they were greeted with drinks and appetizers while I played a mix of tropical tunes.  Myself and Chris also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 24 amber, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights, a monogram/gobo with their names and our signature "Open Air" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 16 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Jessica chose Can't Stop The Feeling by J. Timberlake for the bridal party entrance and Finesse by Cardi B for her and Michael's entrance.  The first dance was to From The Ground Up by Dan + Shay then Jessica danced with her dad to Just The Way You Are by Billy Joel and Michael danced with his mom to Have I Told You Lately by Michael Buble.  Everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal.  The toasts that evening were given by Sonia (maid of honor) and Eddie (best man) then both dads gave the welcoming speeches.  Jessica did not provide me with a play list, instead she gave me a short list of genres for me to work with.  I played a mix of top 40, latin favorites and 80s and 90s hits.  The dance floor was packed all night...what a great group of guests I had that night.  The garter/bouquet toss and the cake cutting were performed as the night progressed but the dance floor was the place to be!!  The closing song for the evening was Save The Last Dance For Me by Michael Buble and that put a bow on an amazing Saturday night wedding!!
