On Saturday December 17th, 2011 I played at the the Deer Creek Country Club for Heather and Jeffrey Williams and 90 friends and family members. The evening started with a traditonal ceremony outside by the waterfall officiated by family friend judge John D. Fry. After a cocktail reception I introduced the entire bridal party and 7 grand parents that were in attendance. The most memorable was great grandmother Dorothy who will be celebrating her 90th birthday on Christmas day! Heather and Jeffrey danced to "It's Your Love " by Faith Hill and Tim McGraw for their first dance. Then Heather danced with her father to "Daddy's Perfect Angel" and Jeffrey danced with his mother to "A Song For My Son". Then the dance floor erupted as I started the evening with "Give Me Everything" by Pitbull, and from there on for almost 3 hours it ROCKED!!! I loved playing for this group of partiers, they danced their butts off! I played everything from The latest club hits to Dion, a dozen country tunes and even mixed in a ballad by Ozzy Osborne for the father of the bride. Later the happy couple cut their cake to "Build Me Up Buttercup" and Heather tossed her bouquet to "Single Ladies" and Jeffrey tossed the garter to "Cherry Pie". I want to add that the energy in this room was through the ceiling for the entire night and we ended it all with "Dirty Bit" (Time Of My Life). Thank you to the staff at Deer Creek, a well done job as always. I wish everyone a Merry and a Happy!....DJ/MC Eddie B!
