Chelsea and John Hughes celebrated their wedding at the Deer Creek Country Club in Deerfield Beach, FL on 1/26/2018. Approximately 130 close friends and family members arrived at Deer Creek and were directed to the front of the waterfall for the ceremony. Chelsea's friend April sang three songs at the ceremony while the happy couple tied the knot. The cocktail hour soon followed and as all of the guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers I played a mix of tropical tunes. I also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 24 amber colored, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B and Company. As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 16 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Chelsea chose Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars for the entire bridal party's entrance and also for her and John. The first dance was to More Of You by Chris Stapleton then Chelsea danced with her dad to Daddy's Little Girl by Barry Gibb and John danced with his mom to I Hope You Dance by L. Womack. The toasts were given by Ashley (matron of honor), Sarah (maid of honor), Sean (best man) and Mr. Shaff (father of the bride). Everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal. Chelsea did provide me with a play list that included top 40, country, r&b and Funk. Great selection of genres for the guests to have fun to. The energy on the dance floor was amazing that evening. As the evening progressed Chelsea and John cut their beautiful wedding cake and they had a garter/bouquet toss. The last song for the evening was Closing Time by Semisonic and that but a bow on a great Friday night Deer Creek wedding!!. Congrats to Chelsea, John and the entire Hughes and Staff families.
Special thanks to the staff at Deer Creek for their excellent service. Like we always say "Our Home Away From Home"!!!
