Dain and Jessica Van Schoyck were married on 9/24/2011 at the beautiful Delray Beach Club and what a wedding it was. The ceremony was held in-doors because of the nasty weather but it did not put a damper on anyone's enthusiasm. All of the guests witnessed a great ceremony then a cocktail hour while Dain, Jessica and family members took pictures. After cocktail hour everyone entered the main ballroom for the grand entrance. This crowd was super energetic when it came to cheering for the bridal party. When Dain and Jessica's names was finally announced the room erupted!!! The happy couple chose Better Together by Jack Johnson as their first dance. And then Jessica and her dad, and Dain and his mom danced together to Somewhere Over The Rainbow by Izzy Kamakawiwo'ole. The speeches were made by the maid of honor and best man then Dain and Jessica said a few wonderful words to their friends and family. During salads and sorbet I rev-ed up the crowd a bit with some songs from Jessica's music request list. A mix of oldies and 70's, both American and Cuban really got the guests moving. Jessica's song list was excellent. It had a little bit of every genre. Everyone sat for the main course and enjoyed more of a classy/jazz mix. After dinner was when things got interesting! I believe that every single guest, at one point or another, got on the dance floor. There were Cubans dancing to top 40. We had Americans dancing to merengue and salsa. It was so fulfilling to see all those people dancing like of no one was watching. The highlight of the evening was performing a merengue called Hombre Divertido by Wilfrido Vargas. Ladies on one side and guys on the other and they had follow every move I made. It's like a latin version of Follow The Leader. There was no garter toss but Jessica did toss the bouquet to the singe ladies. After the cake cutting everyone took a breather and then back to the dance floor for round 3. Jessa and Dain chose Memories by David Guetta for the last song. By that time the guests were exhausted!! By far one of the best wedding I have played in. Congrats to the Van Schoyck and Rocha family for an exciting and entertaining night. Also to the Delray Beach Club for there excellent service and care. Jessica and Dain made the right choice when they chose Delray Beach Club as the venue for there big day.
