Trixie and Brian Conroy celebrated their wedding at Delray Beach Golf Club in Delray Beach, FL on 3/22/2013. The event began with an indoor ceremony. Even though the weather was nice, Trixie completely took the weather out of the equation. Very good idea! Trixie's friend played a nice song on her keyboard during the sand ceremony that gave it a special touch. After the ceremony all of the guests were directed to the front of the country club for appetizers and drinks at the cocktail hour. Trixie chose tropical tunes for the guests to enjoy for that hour. Finally it was time for the grand entrance inside of the main ballroom which was decorated with 20 lavender color up-lights and dance floor lights provided by Eddie B & Co. All of the guests were directed to the main ballroom as I lined up the 14 member bridal party in the lobby. Brian and Trixie chose Let's Get Ready To Rumble along with Eye of The Tiger by Survivor for the bridal party entrance and The Monkeys theme song for themselves. Everyone got a kick out of their song and kind of expected that from the happy couple. The first dance was to A Thousand Years by Christina Perri then Brian danced with his mom and Trixie danced with her dad to Wind Beneath My Wings by Bette Midler. The toast was given by the maid of honor Aby then the first of 3 courses was served. Brian and Trixie provided me with a play list of their favorite tunes. They covered many different genres on the play list which I enjoy. I played a mix of top 40, classic rock, country, alternative, rock, salsa and merengue. After dinner the dance floor got filled quickly. It felt like all 85+ guests were on the dance floor at one point or another. Trixie and Brian did cut their wedding cake and we had a garter/bouquet toss. There was more dancing until the end and the last song requested by the bride and groom was Last Dance by Donna Summer. Congrats to Brian, Trixie and the entire Borrero,Conroy and Thurber families. Special thanks to Beth's staff at the Delray Beach Golf Club!! This is one of my all time favorite venues.
