DJ Gregg here with this weeks installment of the wedding blog. Travis and Jennifer were married at the beautiful Weston Diplomat Country Club on October 20th, 2012. This is not the hotel on the beach, rather the country club. It is BEAUTIFUL! A fantastic day for an outside wedding ceremony. Everyone was seated at the fountains facing the lake. As the bridal party came in, I played "You and Me" by Lifehouse. Then the bride walked down the aisle. She looked great! The Traditional Bridal March was requested. The ceremony was very nice and touching. There was an interesting twist that I had never seen before. they each wrote love letters to one another, and sealed them in a wine box. With Hammer and Nails!!! It's not everyday you see a woman in a bridal Gown wielding a hammer... After the ceremony, I proceeded up to the reception room. I kept it light and standard. You know, the Rat Pack, Soft Rock, Jazz... you get the picture. Now on to the main event! I invited the guests in to some funky music. nothing over the top, Just enough to let the crowd know that we are in for a party. The grand entrance went off without a hitch. I then invite the B and G to dance the 1st Dance. "god Gave Me You" by Blake Shelton was the requested song. I really love the words. Very touching. I then played another slow song for the rest of the guests.. After a few minutes I invited the Maid of Honor and Best Man to do the toasts. Then it was Dad's turn. There was not a dry eye in the place. Very Touching. After dinner, I really started to heat the crow up. I played music from all genres and eras. They loved to dance!!! Jennifer's sister caught the bouquet and her Fiance' caught the garter. WilI I be needed again? We shall see. All in all it was a great party and everyone had a great time1 Congratulations to the Bride and Groom!!!!! DJ/MC Gregg Pellito
