Saturday evening March 26th, at The Dolphin Villas in Key Largo is where 120 of friends and family traveled to celebrate with Colin and Lindsie Akers two very exceptional people.
The ceremony was held overlooking the Florida Bay where the dolphins were swimming with people on an absolutely beautiful day. The bridal party walked down the aisle to Island in the Sun by Weezer. Lindsie walked down the aisle with her dad to I Get to Love You by Ruelle. Once pronounced husband and wife by the officiant, Colin escorted his wife Lindsie down the aisle and dipped her for a kiss in front of everyone to Home by Edward Sharpe.
Cocktail hour continued over looking the bay under a pure blue sky as one of the Steel Drummers from Eddie B & Company named Fox played steel drum songs for many genres.
Following cocktail hour, the guests were invited into the area where dinner was going to be held still remaining outside where the Clear Up lights created an unbelievable atmosphere on the beach.
The bridal party danced into the dining area to Started from the Bottom by Drake followed by Colin and Lindsie to Public Service Announcement by Jay Z as I had all everyone on there feet screaming and cheering for the newlyweds. The first dance followed to Can't Help Falling in Love by Kina Grannis.
Salad was served and toasts were made by the fathers and the MOH and BM. As dinner was served the cigar roller was opened.
The party began as the music genre consisted of everything from the Love Shack to hip hop to include all top 40 songs and more as requested by the bride and groom. When the dance floor was packed was when we did the father daughter dance to I Hope You Dane followed by the mother son dance to Mother Like Mine. The cake was cut and the dancing continued.
As the evening came to a close, Colin approached me to inform me of the great job I was doing as his guests were complimenting me as they were partying.
The closing songs were Friends in Low Places and Sweet Caroline as the guests gathered together around Lindsie and Colin to sing the final songs of the evening. Lindsie and Colin had so much fun that they thanked me for a great time with there family and friends as they danced all night to the sounds of DJ Marc Evans.
