On Saturday June 7th, 2014 I was at the Doubletree Hotel on beautiful Sunny Isles beach playing for Rocio and Nate Kraitman and 90 family members and friends. The evening started with a ceremony on the veranda of the mezzanine level of the hotel. The bridal party walked to "Canon In D" and Rocio walked to an instrumental version of "Ave Maria". After they sealed their vows with a kiss and the breaking of the glass I played an instrumental version of "Viva La Vida" by Coldplay. The cocktail reception was held one level below outside over looking the Atlantic Ocean. For this Rocio and Nate provided me with a play list of specific songs for their guests to enjoy. Next up, it was time to start the party! I Introduced everyone to "Get Ready For This", as the entire bridal party danced their way into the ballroom which was highlighted with Ruby Red LED up lights provided by Eddie B & Company! Rocio and Nate chose "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri for their first dance, which was followed by the father/daughter dance...."Because You Loved Me", and the mother/son dance...."What A Wonderful World". Then our Strike A Pose photo booth opened and the guests enjoyed the fun the entire evening! After about a dozen toasts dinner was served and I took everyone down memory lane with music from all decades and different genres. Right after dinner our newlyweds wanted to cut their cake and do the garter/bouquet so they could dance for the final 2 hours. Rocio and Nate cut their cake to "Sugar Sugar" and the Nate removed the garter to "Danger Zone" and Rocio tossed her bouquet to "Single Ladies"! From there we did a traditional Hora and then it was PARTY TIME! I played a mix of today's Top 40 club hits, Salsa/Merengue, a few Ballads and some Oldies. This group was fun & festive the entire night! We ended the evening with "Closing Time". Thank you Rocio and Nate, I enjoyed the evening just as much as you did! All the best life has to offer!
