Rayann and Felix Ayala celebrated their dream destination wedding at the Double Tree Hilton in Sunny Isles, Miami, FL on 6/25/2014. Since the weather was not cooperating, the ceremony and cocktail hour were held indoors but the view of the Atlantic Ocean was still in sight for all to enjoy. Rayann did provide me with a small play list and since most of the guests were from Texas/Mexican, she asked me to download a few Mexican cumbias and rancheras. Rayann also chose All of Me by John Legend (Tiesto mix) for the introductions of the bridal party along with her and Felix. There were approximately 40 guests but they sounded like 100. I love a high energy crowd even on a Wednesday!! The first dance was to Stand By Me by Ben E. King then Rayann danced with her father to Y Volare Volare by Michael Salgado and Felix danced with his mother to Amor De Madre by Victor Manuel. The toasts were given by Susana (maid of honor) and Luis (best man) then everyone found their seats for a buffet style dinner. Along with Rayann's requests I played a mix of salsa, merengue, bachata, top 40 and disco which everyone enjoyed. As the night progressed we did have a garter/bouquet toss and the happy couple cut their beautiful wedding cake. I played a few more Mexican cumbias for the closing songs and that put a bow on a great destination wedding. After the wedding most of the guests came over and thanked me for playing the Tex/Mex songs. They figured since we're down here in Miami we wouldn't have that style of music. That is why it is crucial that you hire experienced professionals such as Eddie B & Company for any event. Congrats to Rayann, Felix and the entire Martinez and Ayala families. Don't mess with Texas!!! Special thanks to the staff at the Double Tree Hilton for their dedication to excellence...always a great venue for a wedding!!
