Wedding and Reception at the Doubletree by Hilton / Ocean Point

On Saturday October 14th I had the pleasure to play for Luciano and Lisana’s wedding at The Doubletree by Hilton Ocean Point. Approximately 50 close friends and family members joined them for their special day. Ceremony took place on the mezzanine level overlooking the ocean, as guests were arriving I played a mix of piano cover music. Ceremony began with the bridal party walking down the aisle to “Canon In D” by Pachelbel, Lisana walked to “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri, once pronounced the new Mr. & Mrs. Souza they walked out to “Wedding March” by Vitamin C String Quartet. Cocktail hour took place in the main foyer, as guests mingled I played a mix of tropical songs. The main ballroom was decorated with 20 lavender colored LED up lighs and two LED dancefloor lights provided by Eddie B & Company. Bridal party introduction was to “Viva La Vida” by Coldplay followed by the newly weds to “This Girl” By The Kungs. Their first dance was to “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran. Toast was given by maid of honor Sheilla. During dinner I played a mix of jazz. Cake cutting was to “Sugar” by Maroon 5 followed by bouquet toss to “Marry Me” by Bruno Mars, Garter removal was to “Hot In Here” By Nelly. Dance floor was opened to “Fireball” By Pitbull, from there on I mixed music for three different groups of people, American, Spanish and Brazilian. I played all the Top 40 hits, merengue, salsa, brazilian lambada, sertanejo, pagode and brazilian 80’s rock. These guests were energetic and fun, I had a blast playing for them.
