Wedding and Reception at the Doubletree by Hilton / Sunny Isles
On Saturday April 26, 2014 Mendel and Mariah celebrated their wedding at the Double Tree by Hilton in Sunny isles with 120 of their family members and close friends. Ceremony was held outdoors with a beautiful view of the ocean. Bridal party walked to “From This Moment” by Shania Twain. Mariah walked to “ Never Felt This Way” by Alicia Keys. Once pronounced the new Mr. & Mrs. Mendel Corneille they walked out to “Marry Me” by Bruno Mars.
As guests were invited to the pool deck for cocktail hour I played a mix of Jazz and contemporary R&B. After cocktail hour guests were invited to the main ball room with a breath taking view of the ocean and lit up with LED up lights Emerald Green and Royal Blue making the ball room glow and Gobo with Mendel’s and Mariah’s initials on dance floor and photo booth provided by Eddie B & Co. Mendel and Mariah chose “Happy’ by Pharrel for Grand Entrance. First dance was to “ By Your Side “ by Sade. Father and Daughter dance was to “ The Greatest Love Of All” by Whitney Houston mixed with “The Wobble “ by VIC. The Mother and Son dance was to “You Raise Me Up” By Josh Groban. Father of bride Luther Streeter did the blessing of food. Toasts were given by best man Richard and maid of honor Danielle. During dinner I played old school R&B and slow jams. Cake cutting was to ”It’s Like Candy” By Cameo. Bouquet toss was to a mix of “Single Ladies” by Beyonce and “Gold Digger” by Kanye West. Garter removal to “Slow Jamz” by Kanye West followed by garter toss to “ MNF” theme song. Dance floor opened up to an all couples dance to “All Of Me” by John Legend mixed to “Atomic Dog” I mixed in Top 40’s, Kompa, Dance Hall and Hip Hop through out the night dance floor was packed until closing song “ Happy” By Pharell.
