Wedding and Reception at the Doubletree by Hilton / Sunny Isles

Here I am at the Doubletree by Hilton in Sunny Isles Beach getting ready to rock Nikolas and Victorias Wedding! Its a beautiful day in Sunny isles. The time has come for the Ceremony to begin. Victoria had chosen traditional music for the ceremony. As soon as the ceremony ended all of the guests made their way outside on the patio for the cocktail hour. As the cocktail hour came to a close I began to line the bridal party up so that I can bring them in for their grand entrance. I introduced Nikolas and Victorias Parents to Kool and the Gangs- Celebration and the rest of the Bridal party came in to Psy- Gangnum style. It was very high energy and a lot of fun! Nikolas and Victoria came in to Jennifer Lopez- Lets Get Loud and again very high energy and a lot of fun! As Nikolas and Victoria entered they made their way to the dance floor for their First Dance. They danced to Lionel Ritchie and Diana Ross- Endless love. The next dance was a traditional Argentinean dance, The waltz where everyone takes turns dancing with one another. It was a big hit! There were a couple short toasts given by the grooms father, brother, and the Victorias father and her mother. After the toasts dinner was served. A couple of friends of Nikolas had brought their own equipment and were going to sing a 40 min set, when they were finished another friend sang a couple more songs for Nikolas and Victoria. Both performances were top notch and well done! Now it was time for the garter removal and bouquet toss. Nikolas wanted to do something funny that he had seen on Youtube. So he had me play the Mission Impossible theme as he went into Victorias Wedding dress with a flashlight and began to pull out a snake, a stuffed animal and a baby. It was pretty funny. So after the Bouquet toss and garter removal it was time to cut the cake and then on to the party! I rocked the rest of the night with a mixture of Salsa, Merrengue, Reggaeton, Bachata and some 80's and Popular music. It was a lot of fun! Nikolas and Victorias Families were such great down to earth and fun people. We all had a blast! It was my pleasure to play for you're Wedding guys and I wish you two the best! DJ/MC Christian!
