Wedding and Reception at the Doubletree by Hilton / Sunny Isles

Caitlin and Derek Alam celebrated their wedding at the Double Tree Hotel in Sunny Isles, FL on 3/3/2019.  This amazing wedding began with an outdoor ceremony on the veranda.  Approximately 75 close friends and family members witnessed the ceremony then they were all invited to the cocktail hour on the first floor.  I took the time to decorate the ballroom with 24 amber, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 16 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Caitlin chose 24k by B. Mars for the bridal party intros and Bring 'Em Out by T.I. for her and Derek's intro.  The first dance was to In My Life by The Beatles then Caitlin danced with her dad to Feel My Love by Adele and Derek danced with his mom to Dream Big Ryan Shupe.  The toasts were given by Taylor (maid of honor), Ashley (matron of honor) and Mark (best man).  Everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal.  Caitlin did provide me with a play list that included top 40, latin favorites, Motown, classic rock and 80s and 90s dance hits.  Great mix of genres for this fun/energetic group of guests.  They filled the dance floor immediately after the main course and did not take a break until the garter/bouquet toss.  The happy couple also had a cake cutting ceremony as the evening progressed and I did take a few request for the group dances.  The closing song for the evening was Santeria by Sublime and that put a bow on an amazing Sunday night wedding at the Double Tree.  Congrats to Caitlin, Derek and the entire Alam and Clinger families.
