Jessica and Michael Steele celebrated their wedding at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel in Deerfield Beach, FL on 10/19/2019. The indoor ceremony was witnessed by approximately 65 close friends and family members then they were all invited to the ballroom for the cocktail hour and reception. I played a mix of easy listening tunes while everyone mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. I decorated the ballroom with 24 Lavender LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests found their seats I lined up the 13 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Jessica chose Celebration by Kool & The Gang for the bridal party intros and Levels by Avicii for her and Mike's intro. The first dance was to My Best Friend by Tim McGraw then Jessica danced with her mom to Mama's Song by Carrie Underwood and Mike danced with his mom to Because You Loved Me by Celine Dion. The toasts were given by Danielle (matron of honor) and Donnie (best man) then everyone prepared for a 3 course meal. Jessica did provide me with a play list that included top 40, country, 80s and 90s dance hits, oldies and Motown. Great mix of genres for this group of fun peeps. The energy on the dance floor was contagious!!!! Jessica and Mike really enjoyed the music that night and their guests were dancing right along with them. The cake cutting ceremony and the garter/bouquet toss were performed as the evening progressed and I did take a few requests for some of the newer group dances like The Git Up. As the evening came to a close I played I've Had The Time Of My Life from the Dirty Dancing Sound Track and all of the remaining guests gathered outside of the ballroom for a huge glow stick send off...PRICELESS!!
Congrats to Jessica, Michael and the entire Steele and Spitler families.
Special thanks to Fran and her wonderful staff at the Double Tree for always providing excellent service.
