John and Arlie Froetschel celebrated their wedding ceremony and reception at Doubletree Ocean Point Hotel in Sunny Isles FL on 11/19/2011. Since it was a bit windy the ceremony took place inside but the view was still gorgeous overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Arlie and John put together a music agenda for the entire event and all I had to do was follow their game plan. After the ceremony everyone headed down 1 floor for the cocktail hour. Since John and Arlie took plenty of pictures before the ceremony, they had time to join their guests for a few cocktails and appetizers. As the guests were directed back upstairs to the main ballroom, I lined the bridal party up for the grand entrance. Arlie and John chose I'm Sexy and I Know It by LMFAO for the bridal party entrance then they went right into the first dance which was I Couldn't Ask For More by Sara Evans. Arlie then dance with her dad to You're My Hero, Dad by Teresa James (excellent choice) and John danced with his mom to Simple Man by Shinedown. During dinner Arlie suggested lite jazz and The Vitamin String Quartet. After dinner the dance floor filled up as I played a mix of 70's, 80's, country and top 40. We also performed the Dollar Dance, the Anniversary Dance, the cake cutting and the garter/bouquet toss as the night went along. Arlie also requested a special song for her parents, it was Power of Love by Celine Dion for all of the couples to dance also. I'm so happy that everyone had a great time and John and Arlie were very happy at the end. The last songs were a mix of I Had The Time Of My Life by The Black Eyed Peas and the Dirty Dancing Soundtrack version. It worked perfect!! Special thanks to the management and staff at the Doubletree. Once again it is always a pleasure to work with such professionals.
