Wedding and Reception at the East Hotel / Miami

Saturday evening August 13th, 2022 at The East Hotel in Miami on Brickell Ave, is where the reception for Alec and Abigail Leon was held with DJ Marc Evans of Eddie B & Company. The ceremony was held on the 39th Floor overlooking downtown Miami. The bridal party walked down the aisle to Wildest Dreams by Duomo. Abigail walked down the aisle with her dad to the instrumental of Can't Help Falling in Love. Once the officiant pronounced them husband and wife I played You're My Best Friend from Queen.

The Cocktail hour was held in the bar area of the 38th floor where the genre of music was upbeat as the family and friends moved and grooved enjoying drinks. 

As the guests were ready for entry into the main room that was lit up with Cyan uplights and a Gobo with there names on the floor. The bridal party entered the room to Bang Bang and All I Do is Win. Abigail and Alec danced and sang to You're the One That I want from Grease. The first dance was Elvis, Can't Help Falling in love. I then introduced the father of the bride to dance with his daughter to What A Wonderful World. Alec then danced with his mom to Landslide by Fleetwood Mac.

The Toasts were made by the Man of Honor and the Best Man as together we choreographed songs for them the rap to. The photo booth was then open for the evening as guests were able to take pics with party props and enter them into an album provided to Abigail and Alec at the end of the night.

Following the the main course the party began with DJ Marc Evans playing music from Reggae, Salsa, Merengue and top 40 dance songs as they danced and partied with Abigail and Alec on the dance floor.   

After a good solid hour of dancing, the cake cutting was to Sugar Pie Honey, we played the shoe game and then the throwing of the bouquet to Single Ladies. 

Once dessert concluded, the dancing continued as line dances such as the Cupid Shuffle, The Wobble and the Cha Cha slide were very popular. The last few songs of the night chosen were Closing Time and some Elvis. Abigail and Alec along with her family and friends could not have been more complimentary thanking me for creating a great evening for them. Thank you and congrats from DJ Marc Evans.
