Melissa and Matthew Carli celebrated their wedding at the Eden Regal Ballroom in Hollywood, FL on 6/19/2015. The indoor ceremony that began at 11:30am was witnessed by approximately 100 friends and family members who arrived early that morning. Melissa and Matthew tied the knot then posed for pictures with family members while all of the guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers at the cocktail hour. I played a mix of Rat Pack favorites while everyone mingled then they were all invited into the grand ballroom for the reception. I lined up the 14 member bridal party for the grand entrance while everyone found their seats. Melissa chose Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars for the entire bridal party including her and Matthew. The first dance was to Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran then Melissa danced with her dad to Sunrise, Sunset from the Fiddler On The Roof Soundtrack and Matthew danced with his mom to Simple Man by Shinedown. The toasts were given by Carly (maid of honor), Carissa (matron of honor and James (best man). Melissa's mom and dad gave their welcoming speeches along with Matthew's dad during the meals. Melissa did provide me with a play list that included top 40, country, Motown and 80's and 90's dance hits. It was a perfect mix of genres for this group and even though it was an early wedding it was filled with energy especially on the dance floor. The highlight of the wedding was the traditional Hora dance which was performed by everyone after the meals. We also had a garter/bouquet toss and a cake cutting ceremony which were also performed as the day progressed. Towards the end of the wedding I played Pour It Up by Rihanna as the closing song and I let everyone know that the after party was going to be held at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. So it sounded like the party had just begun!! Congrats to Melissa, Matthew and the entire Carli and Ohel families. Special thanks to the staff at the Eden Regal for their help in making the happy couple's day perfect!!
