Hello Everyone, Dj P-Roch’ Here, On Saturday April 20, 2013 I had the pleasure to play for Robbie and Mirella at the beautiful Eden Roc Hotel on South Beach. They had 120 family members and friends that came for their wedding celebration. We had a beautiful beach ceremony. I played some steel drum music for the prelude, then the bridal party walked to Spring “The Four Seasons” by Antonio Vivaldi. Mirella walked to the “Bridal Chorus” steel drum version. After bride and groom sealed their vows they walked out to “What A Beautiful” day By Chris Cagle. Then we moved to cocktail hour in the ballroom foyer, the music I played was country and a little foot tapping jazz. Once the guests were seated in the main ballroom, highlighted in Cyan Blue LED up lights (provided by Eddie B & Company), the reception began with the bridal party introductions in two languages Portuguese and English. Everyone was introduced to “Build Me Up Butter Cup”. As soon as I announced the bridal party I mixed into “Jump On It" by Apache, they had a special dance that was awesome. The newlyweds were introduced to “Danza Kuduro” By Don Omar. When the bride and groom walked on to the dance floor I mixed the song again to “Jump On It “ the whole bridal party joined Mirella & Robbie and did a little dance. Robbie and Mirella had their first dance to “ I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing “ By Aerosmith, followed by Mother And Daughter “ My Wish" by Rascal Flatts, then Robbie joined the dance and Scott the brides escort. For the Mother and Son dance Robbie and Joe Ann chose “ Then They Do” by Trace Adkins. Next up were toasts by both best men, (brothers of the groom Chris and Craig), and maid of honor Marcela, sister of bride. Later in the middle of dinner we presented a memorable slide show with special pictures of the bride and groom. After dinner we had the awesome Hora Loca Group performance, it was a fun show. We distributed masks and hats to all of the guests, everyone was dancing and having an awesome time. Once the Hora Loca was over I kept the party going with music from Top 40’s , club hits, 70’s, 80’s, line dances Brazilian Funk , Brazilian Sertaneijo and of course some Brazilian Samba music. This group was festive, the dance floor rolled all night long. For the cake cutting, I played “This Will Be” By Natalie Cole and Mirella tossed her bouquet to” Dancing Queen” by Abba. We kept the party going and extended it one hour, after which they wanted to keep on dancing. I finished the night with three amazing songs “Don’t Stop The Party “ By Pittbull “Don’t Stop The Party “ By Black Eyed Peas “ and The Great “ New York, New York By Frank Sinatra, this was a truly spectacular party, it was an honor to have been a part of Robbie And Mirrela Special Day.
Best Regards ,
