Renee and Bruce Block celebrated their wedding at the Embassy Suites in Boca Raton, FL on 1/17/2016. This wedding started off a bit different than usual. Instead of the ceremony first, Renee and Bruce decided to have a cocktail hour first for all of their guests to enjoy. The ceremony took place indoors because it was a bit chilly out. Approximately 40 close friends and family members witnessed the happy couple tie the knot then were invited into the main ballroom for the reception. I decorated the ballroom with 22 amber colored, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. The maid of honor and best man entered to Celebration by Kool and The Gang then Renee and Bruce entered to Happy by Pharrell. The first dance was to Tonight, I Celebrate My Love For You by R. Flack and P. Bryson. All of the guests found their seats for the toasts and a 3 course meal. The toasts were given by Tina (maid of honor), Dan (best man), Renee's son Darryl then Renee and Bruce thanked everyone for attending their big day. Renee did provide me with a play list that included top 40, oldies, disco and doo-wop. Perfect mix for this group who after dinner filled the dance floor. I did take a few requests for the group dances like the Cha Cha Slide and The Cupid Shuffle. There were no parents dances but Renee did get to toss her bouquet to all of the single ladies. As the evening came to a close I played New York, New York by Frank Sinatra and Sunday Kind Of Love by Etta James and that put a bow on a great Sunday wedding. Congrats to Renee, Bruce and the entire Block families. Special thanks to the staff at the Embassy Suites for always providing excellent service.
